Hunting Season is in session. Please be courteous to this User Group over the next few months. Hunters often rely on this sport as a source of food. It also plays a huge role in in wild life population control.
In the event of an encounter with Hunters be sure to be respectful and avoid conflict. Ninham is a sensitive area. We do not want to lose great trails.
A trail cleanup day will be scheduled. This year it is requested that leaf blowing be kept to a minimum. Blown trails do make for a great ride experience. Once the winter thaw arrives the effort becomes counter productive and possibly can cause unfavorable riding conditions.
The main focus this year should be blown down and fallen timber management, Address any areas with water runoff erosion issues, trail labeling, marking and mapping. As always there will be great food at the end of the work session.
Ninham Tower side has graffiti on the rocks on the way up the fire road. A coordinated effort to remove the graffiti with minimal environmental impact will be arranged.
